The Shaman of Nickelson Run or Buddy as we call him around the house is chocolate in color with a wavy coat. He is the more active of the two [ Tawney and Buddy] and I think he gets Tawney to chase him just so he can out-run her. [She doesn`t give up.] He usually gets to the balls first but if not he politely takes it from Tawney`s mouth. She doesn`t mind as long as he`s polite. Buddy also loves to be groomed but he must remain active so you must be firm and fast to brush him. He will be a great bird dog when his training is complete. He loves to retrieve and doesn`t range far in the field.
